Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Certification Engineer to join our Leighton Buzzard team, driving certification strategies and mentoring engineers across programs.

Based in the UK with a hybrid working model, you will guide complex aerospace programmes, collaborate with regulatory stakeholders, and drive improvements in certification processes while ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace preferred) required.
• Experience leading certification projects in commercial aviation.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and qualification activities across complex aerospace programmes.
• Develop certification strategies balancing compliance, customer needs, safety, and business goals.
• Mentor and develop engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing.
