Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking Assembly Technicians for a world-leading Aerospace Interiors company based in Bedfordshire. The role is based in Leighton Buzzard with a 6-month duration and a daily pay rate of £22.20 PAYE (Days).

You will assemble aircraft interiors in a low batch, high mix environment as part of a small team, ensuring quality and timely delivery for customer requirements. Travel is 10% and standard hours apply.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, or 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• 5-7 years of assembly experience within an engineering manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated high skill set in the use of a variety of power/hand and mechanical tools.
• Ability to read and successfully interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of industry quality adherence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft interior components using a range of production methods and tools.
• Work with materials including alloys, steels, plastics, fabrics and leathers.
• Read and interpret aerospace drawings and documentation to ensure manufacturing adherence.
• Maintain traceability of all components and assembled parts.
• Package finished goods according to industry standards for road, sea, and air cargo.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality and support delivery targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and drive efficiency.
• Cross-train in other relevant skills as required.
