Moog in Tewkesbury is seeking an Aerospace Assembler & Tester to join the Manufacturing Operations team. The role involves assembling, disassembling, testing, and supporting the manufacture of critical aerospace components including valves, manifolds, and actuators.

The candidate will perform assembly and testing tasks to the highest quality and safety standards, with opportunities to contribute to Lean initiatives and continuous improvement in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble aerospace components and assemblies.
• Perform flow-matching operations using AMP stands as required.
• Carry out wire-locking, labelling, and finishing activities.
• Follow approved engineering documentation, drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
• Inspect your own work in accordance with quality standards and audit requirements.
• Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Support engineering teams, colleagues, and customers where appropriate.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities, including 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
