Job summary

Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced A&T Technicians to join our Wolverhampton facility. You will perform assembly and test of flight-critical actuators to close tolerances, using micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges, guided by engineering drawings and manuals.

The role emphasizes quality audits, adherence to procedures, and responsibility for release to service of repaired actuators, within a BPSS-cleared aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
• Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
• Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
• Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
• Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
• Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
• Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.
