Job summary

Green & Wolvin Recruitment is assisting with a Freight Forwarder (Aerospace / AOG) role based in Heathrow, offering hybrid/remote work with travel once per week to the Midlands or Heathrow. The successful candidate will handle air freight bookings, pricing, and end-to-end shipments while supporting import/export operations and customs processes.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in air freight forwarding, experience with AOG/aerospace shipments, and strong customer service skills, plus

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in air freight forwarding.
• Experience with AOG and aerospace shipments.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of INCOTerms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage air freight import and export bookings including pricing, quotations, end-to-end shipping and customs documentation.
• Specialise in AOG, Air charter and OOG aerospace shipments from pricing to final mile facilitation.
• Focus on both import and export air freight shipments.
• Documents of Operations and transportation (booking, airway bills and loading confirmation).
• Nominating carriers, airlines and GSA in-line with rates, OTIF value and customer requirements per INCOTerms.
• Raise additional customs documentation to ensure freight can move country to country (ISF, COO, clearance docs).
• Customer rate analysis on route guidance, while monitoring allocations and operations efficiency.
• Develop and build relationships to ensure high level of customer service.
• Providing export and import customs clearance services to our clients.
