Job summary

Morson Edge is hiring experienced Aircraft Painters for a busy aerospace MRO operation in Prestwick. You will handle preparation, coating, and finishing of aircraft surfaces to meet approved maintenance data and Part-145 standards.

The role offers multiple shift patterns including nights, with enhanced overtime potential and a six-month initial contract. You will work in a hands-on environment focusing on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive aircraft painting experience
• Strong knowledge of aerospace surface prep and coating processes
• Experience with media-blast equipment and Part-145 requirements

Responsibilities

• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to aircraft surfaces using spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, and conditioning.
• Mask and protect areas not requiring treatment and apply markings as needed.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance and production.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
