Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Ampthill, Bedfordshire seeks a Systems Engineer for modelling of high-speed aerodynamics and aerothermodynamics, joining a multidisciplinary engineering team to support core analyses across the product lifecycle.

The role focuses on numerical modelling, trajectory and thermal analyses, and collaboration with stakeholders. A degree in aero/space and strong communication are essential; DV clearance may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with numerical modelling / computational methods.
• Basic understanding of statistical methods.
• Degree level in aeronautical/aerospace engineering or related field.
• Good computer skills including Windows and Linux.
• Clear and concise report writing skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
• Self-driven with ability to deliver milestones, sometimes customer facing.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and customers.
• Experience in a classified setting is preferred, DV clearance may be preferred.
