Job summary

Lloyds Wealth is seeking an experienced Advice Framework Manager to shape the standards and controls that underpin advisory delivery across the business. You will translate evolving regulation into practical guidance and lead governance discussions with senior colleagues.

With a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and extensive regulatory experience, you will steer complex projects, drive compliant outcomes and support advisers to deliver good client results.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of the FCA regulatory framework for financial advice, including suitability requirements, Consumer Duty and conduct expectations.
  • Significant experience within financial advice, advice frameworks, suitability, technical consultancy, proposition, compliance or related discipline.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulation and translate it into practical standards, guidance and business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of what constitutes suitable advice and good client outcomes.
  • Experience developing, maintaining or overseeing advice standards, frameworks, controls or governance arrangements.
  • The confidence to guide, influence and constructively challenge senior colleagues and governance forums.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and recommend proportionate solutions.
  • Experience producing reports and presentations for senior governance forums, including summaries of regulatory change.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the judgement to balance client needs, regulatory expectations, commercial considerations and firm risk appetite.

The role

As Advice Framework Manager, you'll play a central role in developing and maintaining the Advice Framework and associated control environment that underpins advice delivery across Lloyds Wealth.

Combining strong technical expertise with sound judgement and commercial awareness, you'll interpret regulatory requirements, provide expert guidance on suitability and help the business navigate complex advice challenges. You'll ensure our advice standards remain robust, proportionate and aligned with regulatory expectations, business risk appetite and the delivery of good client outcomes.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Proposition, Risk, Compliance, Client Office and Change, influencing proposition developments, regulatory projects and business change. You’ll also act as a trusted adviser to projects and governance forums, providing clear recommendations, constructive challenge and practical solutions.

What you'll bring
