Job description

Sales Account Manager / Outbound Sales Executive / Telesales Advisor

Basic Salary (DOE) plus Commission with a realistic OTE of £35K-40K

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Account Manager / Outbound Sales Executive / Telesales Advisor to join a small, family-owned business based in Northamptonshire. You will be part of an existing sales team of approximately 13 members. Your role involves leveraging your sales, customer service, and negotiation skills to increase revenue from various businesses. Building relationships with decision-makers at different levels will enable you to identify opportunities to sell advertising space, some of which supports educational establishments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contact business owners to sell advertising space in a monthly publication for schools and tourist pamphlets.
  2. Price small adverts as low as £350, making them affordable for clients.
  3. Negotiate and discuss artwork options with clients.
  4. Use your personality and relationship-building skills rather than scripts to secure sales.
  5. Proactively generate your own leads.
  6. Receive full training, including induction, role play, and shadowing.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a professional sales environment.
  2. Proven experience or aptitude for sales and relationship building, or a willingness to develop these skills. Experience in similar roles or customer-focused positions is advantageous.
  3. Drive and determination to deliver exceptional account management.
  4. Understanding of the sales cycle.
  5. Enjoy earning uncapped commissions and being financially rewarded for your efforts.
  6. Ability to liaise professionally with decision-makers such as business owners, managers, and marketing professionals.
