Job summary

NCG is seeking an Electrical Advanced Technical Lecturer to deliver theory and practical sessions from Level 1 to Level 3 and apprenticeships. You will design inclusive lessons and assessments that meet diverse learner needs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold electrical qualifications at level 3 or above.
• Must have teaching qualification at L5 or above.
• Must have Level 2 English and Maths.
• Ability to plan and deliver effective inclusive teaching.
• Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy for FE/HE.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence using digital learning tools.
• Commitment to safeguarding and equality.

Advanced Technical Lecturer opportunity

We're seeking a motivated and learner-focused Electrical Advanced Technical Lecturer to join our college team. You will be able to teach across a range of Electrical from Level 1 to Apprenticeship programmes - delivering knowledge, building skills, and creating inclusive learning experiences. What we're looking for

You'll need:

• Relevant Electrical qualifications at level 3 or above
• A recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above
• Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
• The ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
• Knowledge of subject-specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
• Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
• Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.

Advanced Technical Lecturer Electrical

The role requires a tutor who can jointly with our other specialists deliver full time courses from L1 to L3 programmes of study and apprenticeships.

You will have a strong background in the industry and a thorough understanding of quality teaching and learning.
