We currently have a vacancy for part time Advanced Support Worker for 32 hours to form a role in a recently built accommodation in Mintlaw. This is a brand-new purpose-built Service for 5 individuals. It will consist of 4 buildings, 3 individual houses and 1 shared house. Three of the people we support will have some complex needs. We require to support 24 hours per day with 2:1 staffing during the day. We also require waken night staff which may change to sleepovers or potentially smart technology through the night as the settle into their new homes. Shift patterns are likely to be 3.30pm - 11pm, sleepover, 7am - 3.30pm. The people we support love to do a variety of activities including walking, cycling, arts and crafts, discos and dances., baking and cooking, seeing their families, playing pool, jigsaws, tabletop activities and having a laugh and having fun. The also like to get out and about in the community - going to the gym, swimming, pubs, restaurants and clubs.

The key to success in this role is ensuring you provide person-centred support, promoting choice, independence and overall wellbeing. In this role, you will need experience of working with adults with learning disability and complete needs and must be flexible, reliable, and motivated. Our ideal candidate will have a SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in complex needs. If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.
