Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the SLT service across Royal Brompton and Harefield sites. You will work in ICU and cardiothoracic settings, performing advanced dysphagia assessments and contributing to multi-professional patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in dysphagia management for adults with respiratory and cardiothoracic conditions.
• Experience with multidisciplinary team working and patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment and management of speech, voice, language and swallowing disorders.
• Carry out instrumental swallowing assessments (VF and FEES) and document findings.
• Lead discharge planning and liaison with MDTs across sites.
