Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to lead on complex Continuing Healthcare and joint funding casework. The role involves supervising staff, promoting high-quality social work practice, and ensuring safeguarding and legislation compliance.

The successful candidate will be a registered Social Worker with extensive experience in adult social care and Continuing Healthcare, and will work with health and social care partners to secure appropriate funding

Qualifications

Qualified and registered Social Worker with extensive experience in adult social care, safeguarding, and Continuing Healthcare.
Skilled in managing complex cases, supporting staff development and delivering high-quality, person-centred services.
Strong communication, leadership and professional practice.

Responsibilities

Lead on complex Continuing Healthcare and joint funding casework.
Support and supervise staff, promote high-quality social work practice.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and relevant legislation.
Provide professional guidance and collaborate with health and social care partners to improve services and outcomes for vulnerable adults.
