Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is assisting Leeds Council in appointing an Advanced Practitioner for the Children's Locality service in Leeds. Based at Deacon House, LS14, with free parking and a hybrid working approach negotiable depending on team needs.

The role involves managing a substantial caseload across Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, and Child Protection, including complex cases up to permanence.

Qualifications

• Must be registered social worker with experience in childrens services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases including Child in Need and Child Protection.
• Excellent written and analytical assessment skills.
• Ability to practice restoratively with families and promote family-led decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload including Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, and Child Protection.
• Lead worker responsibilities alongside other social workers, with no supervisory duties.
• Promote family-led decisions to manage risks and meet support needs.
• Work in a busy but supportive team and share knowledge to promote learning.
• Engage children through direct work and child-centred practice.
