Job summary

Huawei Research and Development UK Limited in Ipswich is seeking a production operative to handle semiconductor materials in a controlled cleanroom environment. Full training will be provided, with 37.5 hours per week and a rotating two-shift system.

This 12-month temp contract offers on-site parking and opportunities to learn advanced manufacturing processes. Candidates should have prior manufacturing or cleanroom exposure, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork skills to support quality

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
• Experience operating machinery/technical processes.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools to process materials per SOPs and meet cycle time and quality targets.
• Use Fab/Test equipment, optical vision systems and related devices.
• Carry out quality inspections and data recording.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and safety.
• Document processes and record metrology data (SPC).
• Work in cleanroom with PPE and gowning protocols.
