Job summary

Turning Point is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead and influence service development across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea Substance Use Services. You will drive engagement with global majority communities and underserved groups, shaping culturally responsive care with community partners and residents.

You will drive innovation, quality improvement and workforce development while developing your portfolio over time to reflect evolving priorities and opportunities to lead

Qualifications

  • Experience in substance use, health, social care or related field.
  • Strong understanding of health inequalities and inclusive practice.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience leading service improvement or quality improvement projects.
  • Ability to analyse data and use insight to improve services.
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels.

  • Build trusted relationships with community organizations, faith groups, local leaders and partner agencies.
  • Identify barriers to treatment and develop practical, evidence-based solutions to improve access and outcomes.
  • Use data, community insight and lived experience to inform service development.
  • Support colleagues to develop inclusive, culturally responsive practice.
  • Lead quality improvement and innovation projects across the service.
  • Share best practice, coach colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider workforce.

Job description

Job Introduction

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to lead and influence service development across our Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea Substance Use Services.

Your initial portfolio will focus on improving engagement with global majority communities and other underserved or marginalized groups, ensuring our services are accessible, culturally responsive and shaped by the needs of the communities we serve. Working alongside residents, community organizations, faith groups and partner agencies, you'll help reduce barriers to treatment and improve health outcomes for people who may be underrepresented in our services.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you'll also play a wider strategic role in driving innovation, quality improvement and workforce development. Your portfolio may evolve over time to reflect emerging priorities, giving you the opportunity to lead other areas of service development as our services continue to grow.

What you'll be doing

Please note that this is a part time position.

About you

You'll be an experienced professional with a passion for reducing inequalities and improving services. You'll be confident building partnerships, influencing practice and turning ideas into meaningful change.

You will have:

  • Experience working within substance use services, health, social care or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of health inequalities, inclusion and culturally responsive practice.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience leading service improvement, quality improvement or change projects.
  • The ability to analyse data and use insight to improve services.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A commitment to Turning Point's values of inclusion, respect and person-centred care.).
