Pinewood School in Blackburn is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Pupil Support Worker to join the dedicated support team. You will work with pupils with Complex Additional Support Needs and help deliver high quality learning and inclusive teaching.

This fixed‑term post is 16 hours per week over 39 weeks per year. The end date is 15 August 2027. Applicants must register with the SSSC and work towards SVQ level 2 within five years, with PVG scheme checks as required.

Qualifications

• Registration with SSSC is required.
• Post requires SVQ level 2 or equivalent within 5 years.
• PVG Scheme membership or update check prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils with Complex Additional Support Needs.
• Be part of the school support team at Pinewood School.
