Job summary

Winchburgh Primary School and nursery class is seeking a highly motivated Pupil Support Worker to provide support to our young learners. The role is part-time (32 hours per week) with a fixed-term contract until 15 August 2027, based in Winchburgh, Scotland.

You will work as part of a committed Nursery team, applying your knowledge of child development and additional support needs. The successful applicant must register with the SSSC within six months of starting and will need to join the PVG

Qualifications

• Registered with the SSSC within six months of starting.
• PVG Scheme checks required prior to an offer.
• Registration and PVG obligations are mandatory for this post.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to young learners with developmental needs.
• Work as part of a Nursery team to implement learning activities.
• Liaise with colleagues to support inclusion and safeguarding requirements.
