Job summary

Community Care Live is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner/Senior Social Worker to support Newly Qualified Social Workers completing their ASYE in a Greater Manchester local authority. This case-holding role offers a reduced caseload to focus on mentoring and development.

Hybrid working is standard, with immediate starts and a six-month contract. The successful candidate will benefit from senior management support and ongoing professional learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior Social Worker or Advanced Practitioner with ASYE mentoring experience.
• Ability to support newly qualified social workers through ASYE.
• Experience with case-holding and providing supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Newly Qualified Social Workers completing ASYE in the local authority.
• Maintain a reduced caseload to enable effective mentoring and development.
• Offer guidance, training and reflective practice to the ASYE cohort.
