Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Sonographer to rotate between City campus, Treatment Centre, QMC campus and the Community Diagnostic Centre (opening 2027). You will join a skilled team delivering obstetric and non-obstetric ultrasound across four sites, with CPD encouraged and opportunities for career progression.
The department operates mainly 8am–6pm, moving towards a 7-day service to cover Early Pregnancy, Inpatients, CDC and SDEC.
This role is for a band 7 Sonographer rotating between the City campus, Treatment Centre, QMC campus and the Community Diagnostic Centre due to open in 2027. A great opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and develop new skills in a busy department. NUH provides both Obstetric and non-Obstetric services across the 4 current sites which includes GP (AQP), outpatients, DVT /vascular, and inpatient scanning, and a gynaecological scanning service for the Nottingham Treatment Centre.
The Ultrasound Department is open primarily between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. However, we are transitioning to a 7 day service to cover services within Early Pregnancy, Inpatients, CDC and SDEC.
You will be accountable to the Ultrasound Modality Manager and the Diagnostic Pathway Assistant General Managerfor Ultrasound, and as part of this role, you will work with a team of Sonographers', Radiologists and other specialties within NUH to ensure a high quality Ultrasound service to our customers.
