Key Responsibilities:
Clinical:
  • Practice autonomously without direct supervision
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients
  • Recognize the need for, initiate, and interpret diagnostic investigations
  • Initiate advice from relevant specialisms when appropriate
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills with patients and carers
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with guidelines
  • Work within your skills and knowledge, recognizing practice limitations
  • Stay informed of developments in clinical practice
  • Promote evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Adhere to performance measures
  • Provide health promotion and accident prevention advice
  • Promote safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
  • Follow Infection Prevention and Control policies
  • Prescribe medication within current legislation
  • Discharge or refer patients appropriately
