Join a highly skilled EDT team that work out of hours providing a robust response to people in crisis. EDT provide a service to children, young people, vulnerable adults, and their families ensuring the right support at the right time to safeguard people who present in crisis out of hours.
The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is an out-of-hours service. You will work alongside colleagues on a rotating shift pattern, which includes some weekends and bank holidays. We work closely with partner agencies.
We seek social workers who can work independently, manage competing demands, and operate under pressure without direct supervision. Confidence in decision-making, risk assessment, and providing guidance and challenge to colleagues is essential.
