Job summary

DHU Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practitioner in the Clinical Assessment Service based at Anstey Frith House, Leicester. Join a not-for-profit team delivering urgent and emergency care decisions 24/7.

As a CAS Advanced Practitioner, you will assess, diagnose, advise, treat, prescribe and refer patients via telephone consultations, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, using advanced clinical reasoning to ensure safe, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist with independent prescribing rights and Level 7 clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, advise, treat, prescribe for and refer patients with urgent conditions via telephone consultations.
• Work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning to deliver safe, patient-centred care.
• Contribute to ensuring patients receive right care, at the right time through clinical pathways.

Working Pattern: Permanent and bank hours available. Weekday evenings and Weekend days, afternoons and evenings. Working on a 4-week rolling rota for part time hours.

Salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £64,234 - £74,905 per annum (pro rata) with a 30% evening enhancement, and 45% weekend enhancement
