Job summary

Hesley Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead and develop the operational team at Copperclay Mews in Easingwold, near York. You will train and coach staff to implement bespoke plans, ensuring a high quality, outcome-focused service tailored to each individual’s needs.

The role involves working with adults with learning disabilities and autism, modelling best practice, and driving continuous improvement to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

About The Role

We are hiring an experienced Advanced Practitioner to work at our adult residential service - Copperclay Mews in Easingwold, on the outskirts of York.

This is a significant position within the service as the Advanced Practitioner will have responsibility to support and develop the operational team in their knowledge and understanding, ensuring that the people we support receive a high quality, outcome-focusedand personalised service which meets their needs.

Working as part of the local senior management team, this role will involve developing and implementing bespoke plans to meet the individual needs of the people we support. This will enable people we support to have the best possible quality of life and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness.

You will be expected totrain, coach and support colleagues to implement strategies as well advising on best practice to ensure we meet the individual needs of the people living within the service.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a successful track record of working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as behaviours that challenge.

You will be a positive role model and coach for the team you are supporting as well as being self directing with excellent organisational skills who is reliable and able to identify and see tasks through to completion.

We are looking for someone who is committed and enthusiastic about the people we support achieving the best possible outcome and have a great quality of life.
