Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Luton is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join the Ultrasound Department at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. You will perform and report ultrasound examinations across General Medical, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and contribute to training of student Sonographers.

The successful candidate will hold a PGDip in Medical Ultrasound and HCPC registration, with opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive Trust.

Qualifications

• PGDip in Medical Ultrasound and core ultrasound competencies
• Competent in General Medical, Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound
• EPC experience encouraged
• Traction for PGDip trainees and CPD participation
• Face-to-face interview and practical assessment required

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and report ultrasound examinations in General Medical, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Train student Sonographers and contribute to CPD and governance activities
