Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Sonographer specialising in obstetric and gynaecology to join our NHS locum team in Luton, Bedfordshire. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with Monday–Friday availability and potential weekend work, delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and clinical input.

The ideal candidate will have obstetric/gynae training with a Post Grad Diploma (18–24 months), NHS experience, up-to-date FASP e-learning and NT accreditation, and a willingness to

• Must be Obstetric and Gynae trained with a Post Grad Diploma lasting 18 to 24 months.
• NHS experience is essential.
• FASP e-learning up to date and NT accredited.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday with possible weekends.
• MSK abdominal and small parts skills advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric and gynae ultrasound examinations with expert imaging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ultrasound advancements and CPD.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and health and safety regulations.
• Provide patients with empathetic, patient-centered care.
