Envertiz Consultancy is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a well-established GP practice in Birmingham. You will provide comprehensive patient care across the full pathway and lead nursing colleagues within the team.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, autonomous clinical care in a supportive, patient-centered environment, with opportunity to influence practice policies and uptake of best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with Advanced Clinical Practice qualification, or working towards Non-Medical Prescriber status.
• Minor Injury and Illness qualification (essential).
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner qualification preferred; MSc route to ACP status considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across the full pathway from history taking to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care outcomes.
• Demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making in general practice.
• Deliver expert, autonomous clinical care to patients with a wide range of conditions.
• Collaborate with the wider general practice team to meet holistic patient needs.
• Support delivery and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
• Provide nursing leadership and mentor colleagues as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across the full pathway - from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care outcomes
• Demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making, applying expert assessment and diagnostic skills within a general practice setting
• Deliver expert, autonomous clinical care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
• Work collaboratively with the wider general practice team to meet the holistic needs of patients
• Support the delivery and implementation of practice policies and procedures
• Provide nursing leadership within the team as required, mentoring and guiding colleagues where needed

Requirements

• Experience working in a Primary Care setting
• NMC registered nurse with Advanced Clinical Practice qualification, or working towards Non-Medical Prescriber status
• Minor Injury and Illness qualification (essential), with the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner qualification preferred; candidates with accreditation or currently undertaking an MSc route to ACP status will also be considered
