Job summary
NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an Advanced Occupational Therapist Paediatrics for Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust to join the Childrens Occupational Therapy CYP Therapies team at Peace Childrens Centre. You will provide highly specialist assessments, interventions and advice for children and young people with complex disabilities in diverse settings.
You will lead on service initiatives, supervise junior therapists, and contribute to safeguarding, reporting and multidisciplinary
Qualifications
- HCPC registration required.
- Experience in paediatric community Occupational Therapy and complex caseloads.
- Assessment, intervention planning, and multidisciplinary working.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferable.
Responsibilities
- Complete detailed occupational therapy assessments using specialist tools.
- Apply advanced clinical reasoning to monitor progress and adapt approaches.
- Prepare specialist reports and contribute to safeguarding and meetings.
- Assess, recommend and review specialist equipment and resources.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data.
- Contribute to audits, clinical governance, and service development.
