Job Opportunity: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in Fife

Are you an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) seeking a new challenge or an experienced Band 6 nurse aiming to progress your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen within Fife’s District Nursing Service to expand the ANP role and deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care in the primary care setting.

As services evolve to meet the needs of our aging population, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership recognises the importance of having staff with the right knowledge and skills in the community to support healthy, independent living at home or in a homely environment.

Requirements

You will need to:

  1. Be currently working in an Advanced Practice role with MSC (Level 11) Advanced Practice studies to PGDip level or equivalent.
  2. Or be an experienced nurse, educated to degree level, willing to undertake MSC (Level 11) Advanced Practice studies to PGDip level. Support includes clinical supervision, study time, and a funded place at Dundee University Kirkcaldy Campus, with a planned completion in 12-15 months. Previous academic credits may be applicable under RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning).
Skills and Responsibilities

You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, utilize clinical judgement, and work effectively as part of the wider health and social care team. The role involves community travel across Fife.

Employment Details

You will be employed under the District Nursing Service, primarily covering some of the 7 H&SCP Locality areas, with flexibility based on service needs.
