BHRUT maternity department is looking to recruit a fetal surveillance midwife with enthusiasm to improve fetal monitoring and intrapartum risk assessments. The post holder will work according to the Saving Babies' Lives Care Bundle (SBLCBV2) to enhance care quality. They will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team for learning and development.
Main duties of the job
The role involves leading the implementation of SBLCBV2, focusing on improving standards in Element 2 (Risk assessment, prevention, and surveillance of pregnancies at risk of fetal growth restriction via GAP/GROW), Element 3 (Raising awareness of reduced fetal movement), and Element 5 (Reducing preterm birth).
