NHS Scotland seeks an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for the Emergency Department at Ninewells Hospital, responsible for delivering person-centred care and working towards autonomous practice. Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join our established ANP team within the Emergency Department (ED)
The primary base is within the ED at Ninewells Hospital but there is an expectation that the post holder will also cover Perth Royal Infirmary.
The ANP role within the ED offers an excellent opportunity for Registered nurses to be involved in delivering person centred care while working towards becoming an autonomous Practitioner
There is an expectation that the post holder will possess or undertake study at Master’s level and or possess a PG Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice.
Completion of Non Medical Prescribing is essential to the role
It is anticipated that training will take 18 months to 2 years. This may be sooner if applicants have already commenced on a study programme
Previous post registration experience in an appropriate / acute speciality is essential.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week. An 11.50 hours shift system is worked with day/night rotation.
