Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide flexible regional primary care sessions across Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics with full clinical autonomy within established primary care settings.

You will perform advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within GP and community services, ensuring safe and efficient workflows across clinics.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings preferred.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.

• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems

Requirements
