Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work flexible regional primary care sessions across Leyburn. You will deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics with full clinical autonomy while maintaining a consistent working environment.

You will perform advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within GP and community services, ensuring safe workflows and clear clinical pathways in each clinic.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification is required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings is required.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills are required.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
