An exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse/Paramedic at a leading NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves working in a busy Minor Injuries Unit, requiring strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality care. Successful candidates will benefit from structured supervision and training opportunities.
The position will be based at Ely.
Shift times are 08:30-18:30 Monday - Friday and 08:45-17:15 on Weekends/Public Holidays. The units are open 7 days a week.
Working in a busy and fast-paced Minor Injuries Unit, the successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, polite, and able to work under pressure at times.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team ethic, willingness to travel, and flexibility to work across any of the three Minor Injuries Units. They will have access to structured supervision and opportunities for training to develop their role within the team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Registered Nurse or Paramedic/ECP with significant post-registration experience, including Primary Care or ED experience, and specialist knowledge in Minor Injury and illness to work flexibly across our Minor Injuries Service.
The candidate should possess well-developed clinical skills, including wound assessment and closure, musculoskeletal injury management (including X-ray requesting and interpretation), and minor illness management. The role offers opportunities to develop towards an advanced level in a nurse/paramedic-led environment.
Applicants will have the chance to develop their competency framework and will have access to structured clinical and management supervision.
