Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Maine Radiologic Technology/Nuclear Medicine license, NMTCB or ARRT certification, BLS, and MS Office proficiency, enabling high-quality imaging and patient care while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current State of Maine License for Radiological Technology/Nuclear Medicine required.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB OR by ARRT required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures to ensure understanding.
• Prepare, administer, store and dispose radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and regulations; monitor patient condition.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensure safety and quality control.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, document and report results; enter and transmit scan results.
