An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at University Hospital Sussex.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and innovative practitioner to work across sites at our ANNP Led Level 1 SCBU at the Princess Royal Hospital and our Level 3 tertiary NICU, which includes surgery at the Trevor Mann Baby Unit NICU.

The successful candidate will work clinically with a non-clinical component covering all four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice, contributing to service improvement and professional development.
The primary base for clinical practice will be our Level 1 SCBU, an ANNP-led service. You will have responsibility, autonomy, and independence to manage the care of newborn infants day and night, supported by the Sussex Neonatal Transport Team and Consultant Neonatologists.
The post involves cross-site duties (SHO rota equivalent) at Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and SCBU at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, with the primary base at the latter.
The ANNP promotes individualised, family-centred holistic care for neonates and their families, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge. You will provide clinical advice, support, and teaching to the multidisciplinary team.
Using your advanced clinical skills and knowledge, you will exercise professional autonomy to deliver safe, evidence-based care and high-quality medical management within the neonatal unit, postnatal ward, and delivery suite, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
