Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Musculoskeletal Service is seeking a Bank Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join the team. The role includes mentoring and CPD; involvement in training and supervision of students.

You will provide high quality MSK assessments and individualised treatment plans, manage your own caseload, and contribute to service development within a supportive, research-active department.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with current licence to practise in the UK.
• Teaching/mentorship qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive assessment of patients including diverse presentations; use advanced clinical reasoning to diagnose.
• Undertake video, telephone and face-to-face assessments; develop individualised treatment programmes.
• Manage own caseload and contribute to multidisciplinary care and service development.
