Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Musculoskeletal Service is seeking a Bank Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join the team. The MSK service provides mentoring, supervision and CPD; the department is research‑active with links to Higher Education Institutes.

Active involvement in training and supervision of students and staff training is a key requirement. You will provide high quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy, undertake advanced assessments, develop and deliver

Qualifications

Registered Professional required.
Teaching/mentorship qualification or equivalent desirable.
Post-registration/qualified physiotherapist with relevant specialism experience.
Demonstrable multi-agency working experience.
Evidence of CPD/short courses.
Ability to communicate complex information to patients, carers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies.
Provide high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services.
Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans and discharge recommendations.
Manage own caseload and contribute to service development.
Collaborate with medical, nursing and therapy teams to deliver coordinated care.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports; engage in data collection and audits.
