Job summary

Eleven Cambridge is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist in day-to-day manufacturing and pilot-plant operations. The role includes equipment maintenance, process trials, quality control and ensuring health and safety compliance.

The position requires a scientific or engineering background or substantial hands-on experience, with strong attention to safety, documentation and communication. Monday–Friday with occasional shift work in a small, growing advanced materials setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory or pilot-plant environment.
• A scientific or engineering degree with practical experience, or 5-10 years' relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around safety, documentation and chemical handling.
• Good organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and process plant equipment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing and pilot-plant operations.
• Carry out equipment maintenance and support process trials.
• Oversee quality control and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance.
• Collaborate with team to resolve process issues and optimize production.
