Job summary

InHealth is seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Mammography to join the Guildford team at The Jarvis Breast Centre. You will perform diagnostic mammography within NHSBSP standards and contribute to teaching and mentoring of radiography staff.

The role requires a full UK driving licence for site travel to mobile screening units. You will work 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a support network across Surrey's mobile and static units, delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in mammography interpretation and interventional breast imaging.
• Ability to teach, supervise and mentor postgraduate radiographers.
• Participation in departmental quality assurance and governance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake NHSBSP-standard screening mammograms including interventional procedures.
• Assist in teaching and mentoring radiography staff.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and reporting within national/local protocols.
• Perform stereotactic biopsy, localisations and clip insertions as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide high-quality patient care.
