Job summary

InHealth Group is seeking an experienced Breast Screening Radiographer (Mammographer) to join the Jarvis Centre in Guildford, with duties across the unit and mobile screening vans. You will perform high-quality mammograms, participate in the QA programme, and mentor Assistant Practitioners in a supportive team.

The role offers a flexible 15, 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hour pattern, excellent development opportunities, and a commitment to high standards of patient care within NHSBSP-aligned practice.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography and PG Cert in Mammography are required.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to reassure clients.

Responsibilities

• Take high-quality mammograms and contribute to the unit's QA programme.
• Participate in Assessment Clinics, including stereotactic biopsies.
• Mentor and support Assistant Practitioners in their development.
• Work across mobile sites and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Stay up to date with breast imaging trends and techniques.
• Deliver care with empathy and maintain CPD portfolios.

Location: Jarvis Centre, Guildford | Salary: Competitive | Hours: 15, 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hours considered

Are you an experienced Breast Screening Radiographer ready to make a real difference in your community? We're looking for a skilled Mammographer to join our friendly and supportive Breast Screening Team at the Jarvis Centre in Guildford, Surrey.

At InHealth, we screen the women of Surrey and North East Hampshire using a fleet of 5 mobile vans and our state-of-the-art Jarvis Centre. You'll be part of Assessment Clinics alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, Advanced Practitioners, Assistant Practitioners, and clinical and admin staff - all following NHSBSP triple assessment principles.
