Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking an Advanced Electrician to join the London team delivering responsive repairs. This permanent role is 40 hours per week, with hours 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis; the out-of-hours rota provides additional payment.

You must live within the TW + UB postcode areas and hold a full UK driving license. You will perform certificated electrical works up to 230v/415v, complete required verifications, and maintain thorough

Qualifications

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment with performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive electrical repairs as part of the London team.
• Carry out electrical testing, installation and maintenance up to 230v/415v.
• Complete certifications, record data accurately and follow procedures.

Guinness Property provides repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our residents' homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Electrician to join our London team, delivering responsive repairs. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am – 7pm Monday – Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment.

To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the TW + UB postcode areas. A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by Guinness.

Essential requirements of the role

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
