Command Recruitment seeks an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Dover to diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of modern vehicles. You’ll work at a preparation centre, focusing on diagnostics without customer-facing duties or bonus targets.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and proven diagnostic experience, using professional equipment to identify root causes and ensure high-quality repairs across multiple manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and fault-finding in modern vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Investigate electrical, electronic and mechanical faults across multiple makes/models.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Interpret fault codes, live data and technical information accurately.
• Diagnose engine management, sensor, wiring and control system faults.
• Carry out repairs and rectification as required to high standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the workshop team.
