Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales) seeks an Advanced Pharmacist in Dermatology to work with the dermatology and pharmacy teams. You will provide specialist pharmaceutical care for dermatology patients, support advanced therapies and homecare medicines, and help shape a developing pharmacy service.

The role involves patient-facing care, education, audits, and contributing to safe treatment pathways, with opportunities for independent prescribing where qualified.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: MPharm degree and GPhC registration.
• Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent considered.
• Desirable: Non-medical prescribing qualification (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to dermatology, working with the multidisciplinary team to optimise medicines use.
• Support safe, effective use of specialist, high-cost and homecare medicines.
• Contribute to development and implementation of medicines-related guidelines, pathways and service improvements.
