Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, part of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (NHS Wales), is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist in Dermatology to join the Dermatology and Pharmacy teams. This role offers specialist pharmaceutical expertise and opportunities to influence patient care in dermatology.

Formación

• MPharm degree or equivalent.
• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society & registration with the Faculty.
• Non-medical prescribing qualification (or working towards).
• Welsh language ability desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to dermatology, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise medicines use.
• Advise on dermatological treatments, including high-cost and homecare medicines.
• Develop and implement medicines-related guidelines, pathways and service improvements.
• Support education, training, audit, and medicines governance within dermatology and pharmacy.
• Engage in patient-facing clinical practice and independent prescribing where qualified.
• Participate in weekend, public holiday and on-call rotas.
