Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a highly qualified healthcare professional to lead a complex caseload within a defined specialty. You will drive quality improvement, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team, and promote evidence-based practice across the organisation.

The role requires Masters level education and postgraduate expertise in the specialty, with strong knowledge of clinical guidelines. A supportive environment and opportunities for teaching, research, and leadership development are

Qualifications

Registered Healthcare practitioner with valid UK Registration (NMC / HCPC).
Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level.
Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.

Responsibilities

Develop advanced competence, innovation and leadership in safe, effective person-centred care within own area of practice.
Promote values-based care and influence others to adopt non-judgemental practice.
Role model exemplary facilitation and teaching skills and develop those skills in others.
Demonstrate understanding of adult learning theories and apply a wide range of facilitation and assessment skills.
Provide strong leadership across professional and organisational teams.
