Job summary

gtd healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for the City Health Centre Walk-in Service in Manchester City Centre. The role is full-time with a salary range of £55,157 to £68,544 per year, with NHS pension and rate enhancements for out-of-hours working.

The service operates 08:00–20:00, 7 days a week, above Boots on Market Street, with easy access via NHS 111 or referrals. Applicants should have an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or credentialing) and a Non-Medical

Responsibilities

• Assess and holistically examine patients of all ages with minor and complex needs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate effective management plans including safe discharge/referral.
• Provide information on medications, side effects and interactions.
• Prioritise health problems and act in urgent or emergency situations as needed.
• Refer and discharge safely with safety-netting advice.
• Triage telephone referrals and external queries into appropriate services.
