Job summary
Practice Plus Group is seeking an experienced nurse/paramedic to join our Primary Care/Mental Health/Substance Misuse/Prison healthcare team. The role offers opportunities for development within a large NHS-facing organization and a complex patient population in secure environments.
You will lead a multidisciplinary mental health team, contribute to patient care plans, and support senior clinicians on site while upholding high professional standards and continuous learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse – Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC.
- Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification.
- MSc in Advanced Practice.
- Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide ranging and complex patient problems.
- Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
- Support senior clinicians on site you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
- As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure patient safety and the most up to date treatment methodologies.
