Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Whitland. This flexible, sessional role is ideal for ACPs with autonomous clinical assessment skills and experience in urgent patient demand management.

You will work with established clinical teams, delivering ACP-led sessions, handling acute and minor illness presentations, and providing safe prescribing within your scope of practice. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) required or equivalent.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services preferred.
• Prescribing within scope of competence; DBS/clearance as applicable.

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service environments.

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments
• Enhanced DBS
