Locum Ready is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Brackley. This flexible, sessional position suits ACPs with autonomous clinical assessment experience and the ability to respond to urgent patient demand.

You will work within established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across varied community settings.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, or allied health professions.
• Enhanced DBS is desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand through triage (phone or face-to-face).
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-ups.
• Record accurate and clear digital documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7)
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable
